Sowing:
Sow indoors or outdoors January–April.
Growing:
Sow thinly 0.5–1.5cm deep in trays or seed beds. Transplant seedlings into holes about 15cm apart. As plants grow, gradually earth up soil around stems to blanch and improve length.
